We have nothing but great things to say about Kelly and the work she did for our engagement shoot. As with our whole wedding, our wishes as a couple were to work with people who support the LGBTQ+ community and are not afraid to express that support. When we came across Kelly, it was a no-brainer. The variety of events, people, and locations she has worked with brought a sense of relief for us as we were still trying to figure out what our shoot was going to look like. After speaking with Kelly, it was clear we wanted to move forward. We had vague ideas as to what we wanted our engagements to look like, but nothing specific. Kelly helped us figure out a plan while still making sure everything flowed. She was patient with us with all of our questions about what to wear, helping us coordinate and brainstorm a fun activity for the middle of the shoot, working with us when weather issues arose, and was just always available if needed. For the day of our shoot, we were of course nervously excited to do our engagement shoot. Once we met up with Kelly, the nerves were gone and things were just fun. She definitely knows what she is doing and is professional, but one thing we appreciated is that she had fun with us. You can tell she genuinely enjoys doing what she does, which really helps you relax and open up. We couldn’t stop laughing throughout the shoot! Another thing we appreciated is that she had some photo spots pre-selected based on previous shoots, but if something didn’t work or she found something better, she ran with it (which again kept us relaxed). Oh, and yes, the pictures were so beautiful and amazing!!! She understood our timetable and worked with us to get us samples before the full gallery was ready so we could start making some other wedding planning decisions. Everything was real, natural, fun and, most of all, captured who we really are. We definitely could not have asked for a better experience! Thank you Kelly!
