New Haven Lawn Club Wedding // Sneak Peak

Elana was super excited to get full length shots of her dress- I even received a sweet email the week of the wedding saying that pictures of her with her entire wedding ensemble on and the first look were her two favorite things she was looking forward to. Seeing it come together and seeing her soon to be husband were what she had been waiting for. Gennady had been joking with Elana and I just one week prior to their wedding, as we did their holiday card picture shoot, that we needed a puppy to get his attention while we were going to take couple shots. But as I set showed him where the first look location was, he looked at me and asked me to walk him through the whole thing again because “it only happens once”. I was the one melting. He was so genuine and happy to be seeing Elana on their wedding day that he was completely focused and 100% present in the day. He knew how important this moment was to her…and suddenly, it was everything to him.
