New Canaan Connecticut Wedding

N and G were so excited to travel to CT, meet up with their family, and get legally married. I met N only days before her wedding, right after her trial with Dana Bartone for hair and makeup, and it was so nice to finally have her sitting in my studio and talking about all the planning.

So the day of, I headed off to New Canaan, CT for the wedding at a private residence and was promptly greeted by two yellow labs and covered in doggy kisses. Best way to start a day! G’s mom had gone into crafting overdrive as all the DIY details they had worked on for months had been left behind in their homestate accidentally. When I saw all the details I for real could not believe they had all been made in a matter of days. My hands and fingers hurt thinking about all the origami cranes (over a thousand) they made.

And then the getting ready began with lots of excited laughing and the flower girls darting in and out to see what was going on. And tomorrow, I’ll share the amazing ceremony that N and G put together pulling on their diverse cultural backgrounds.

I love the flowergirl practicing her wheelbarrow duties for the down the aisle processional.
