Fuller Craft Museum Wedding

I love museum weddings. It may have to do with the fact I went to college in the basement of one- but I just love that it’s a different kind of venue. And the Fuller Craft Museum is full of fun little nooks and crannies filled with artwork- mostly textile and installations- which makes it all the better. And of course, with Shiami and Andy, I knew it was going to be a fun day. These two are just filled to the brim with laughter. Two business/computer geeks who fell in love.

So the getting ready was easy. The flowers arrived and I was happy as a clam. I love me some bright flowers! I love lots color and texture and that’s exactly what Spruce Floral did. I knew Shiami had good taste, ha! A very important detail for Shiami was the picture locket of her parents attached to her bouquet. It was such a lovely way to honor her parents who had passed away. And unbelievable, her mother’s wedding ring fit on her pinky, which she wore throughout the day.

Andy and Shiami really made the wedding day full of details that really made the day reflect them: from the Boston map cufflinks, to Andy’s converse shoes with their wedding date on them, I was constantly finding new things to photograph and smile about. Can you tell I love these guys?

My amazing second shooter, Lara Swanson, and I scoped out an amazing field near the Fuller Craft Museum for portraits and we went to town.
