Asbury Park Beach Wedding

Sarah and Nicole’s reception was at Tim Mcloone’s overlooking the beach. I was so impressed with the live jazz music and watched Sarah really twirl in that dress. I seriously love short wedding dresses. Twirl shots!! After all was said and done, we headed out to the beach for couple shots, all buzzed from the entire day. And while there were hundreds of beach goers (and 3 other weddings) we managed to find a jetty to be alone on and take shots. I insist that all my couple’s portrait time is just with the couple and no one else. No bridesmaids. No mom. No videographer. It allows for real emotions to surface and not feel like your on display. And with Sarah and Nicole, it just reminded me of how much couple time is usually my favorite part of the day. Watching them hold each other, laugh, stub a toe and slightly panic because of all the blood and then promptly get great shots of running in the ocean to soak it…I really love it.
