American Visionary Museum Wedding Baltimore MD

Ok, I’m obsessed a tiiiiny bit. Or a lot a bit with Fifi. Fifi is the iconic statue of a giant pink poodle who came about to run in the Kinetic Sculpture Race. Now Fifi lords over the bottom floor of the American Visionary Museum, and thus, was looking over the ceremony of Jennifer and Heath. The Chuppah was put together by Jennifer, Heath and Maya together- a perfect project to tackle together as a family. When I went upstairs to see the reception, I was floored. Kate Beck Events had lime green silk curtains blocking off the reception tables for half of the room to create an intimate cocktail hour. I peeked. So shoot me. I went around the curtains and I knew Maya’s wishes had come true.

Bright pink table clothes, paper flower centerpieces, and lime green lanterns made the room bright, alive, and perfect for a good time. And when all the guests and the couple arrived, everyone was on the dance floor thanks to DJ PGEE (who I finally got to meet! I had wanted to hire her for my own wedding but she was booked.) One of the things I loved is how creative Jennifer and Heath got with the photobooth. They provided feather boas, hats, fake lips, mustaches, you name it. And people just ate it up!

Aw, yay! I somehow missed this on Friday! Our day wouldn’t have been nearly as special without you there, Kelly. Thanks again!

I LOVE this wedding!!! So fun and colorful.
